I have written a fair bit in the past about workforce management capacity planning but mostly from a theoretical perspective and I often get asked if I could share an example. So here is a practical example of a basic capacity plan (along with descriptions of fields and calculation examples to make it a breeze) that you can take apart and learn from. There are certainly more advanced versions that have been developed over the course of the last two decades but hopefully, this gives you a running start
This basic Capacity Planning model has been developed and been made publically available by Marlon Martinez who is going to truly extra lengths to push the boundaries in the WFM and is a great person to network with if you ever want technical advice on Capacity Planning
